The nation’s largest wireless network wanted a spot to showcase how the power of their service unites people. What a better way than with thousands of sparklers.
Garth Davis immediately came to mind when i saw the board. His ability to make grand, large/epic spots featuring mass crowds of talent was a perfect match.
We had an extremely tight timeline to pull off an epic brand spot: just three days to get a treatment, bid and award the job; two days to travel all the way to Wellington, New Zealand, what seemed like zero days to find and cast over 500 people willing to stand outside in the cold holding sparklers oh and a chemist to hand make 2,000 custom sparklers!
